What is my purpose?

Thanks to some giveaways that I joined in on I've gotten a LOT of new fans over the past few weeks. Around this same time I finally managed to step things up & start posting a lot more often. For all of my new fans you might be slightly confused since my blog is called "My Crazy Gluten Free Life" but most of my posts in the last few weeks have been about giveaways or daily stuff. Here's the reason why.

My life is constantly changing, constantly chaotic & a good portion of the challenges that I face day to day are partially related to Celiac Disease. It's not easy taking care of a husband & two kids who have no problem & regularly eat the things that make me sick. Just a speck can cause me so much pain & sickness it's not funny.

I don't know if my heart problems have anything to do with my Celiac Disease but it just seems a continuous supply of health problems have led me to where I am today, at home. So since we've been pushed into the frugal corners of the world trying to save money by couponing, get some things for myself or my kids for free (entering giveaways), joining sites like Swagbucks and SuperPoints (doing small easy tasks to earn points to trade for gift cards), I figure that I can't be alone in all of this.

Unfortunately in this bad economy people are losing their jobs every day so everyone is trying to find ways to spend less. Even when you're pinching every penny you have to find ways to enjoy life & splurge here & there. What I've been doing has worked for me. I've won a ton of free books, some hair accessories, gift cards & more. So far in the last 4-5 months I've earned $45 in Amazon cards & have now figured out how to earn about $5 a week. It may not seem like much but it's perfect for some small splurges. If I don't win one of these Kindle Fires that everyone's giving away right now (see the Giveaways page above) then I just might start saving my Amazon codes to get myself one of those.

So why shouldn't I share? You think I learned this all on my own? Nooo. Someone pointed me in the right direction. I may not have gotten as much help & info as I would have liked but I figured it out & made it work for me.

I am still learning & finding new things in the gluten free world & I am committed to sharing what I find. I will keep the gluten free posts coming just like I plan to keep everything else coming.

As always if there is something particular you want to know more about whether it's gluten free related, coupon related, blogging related, giveaway related or even about the sites that I earn gift cards from (I am planning more detailed posts on Swagbucks & Superpoints) just let me know. I would love to help in any way that I can.
